part 1: 24° cone connectors.
The first edition was released in 1994 and prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 131, Fluid power systems, Subcommittee SC 4, connectors and similar products and components.
The second edition was released in 2007, canceled and replaced ISO 8434-1:1994 and ISO 8434-4:1995.
Current valid version is third edition ISO 8434-1:2018 , see below the cover page of ISO 8434-1 standard, and link from ISO website.
ISO 8434-1 evolved from Germany such as DIN 3861 etc. series standard, 24° cone connectors and cutting ring, cutting nut, widely used in the world.
What content does ISO 8434-1 specify?
ISO 8434-1 specifies the general and dimensional requirements for 24° cone connectors using cutting ring and O ring seal cone (referred to as DKO) suitable for use with steel tubes with outside diameters from 4 mm to 42 mm inclusive.
